Uns erreichte frohe Kunde: Das ICATAT wurde im 20. Jahr seines Bestehens mit dem „Sonderpreis für Engagement für Vielfalt – gegen Rassismus und Diskriminierung“ des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt geehrt.
Während die beiden Leiter des ICATAT – Dr. Hotopp-Riecke und Dr. Theilig – bei internationalen Kulturaustauschprojekten im Ausland weilten, nahm die Auszeichnung unsere krimtatarische Kollegin Dzhemile Umerova entgegen, ICATAT-fellow seit 2009. Mit Ausbruch des Krieges in der Ukraine im Jahr 2014 musste ihre Familie, wie tausende andere Familien nach Westeuropa ins Exil emigrieren. Auch syrische, kumükische, ukrainische, kurdische und türkische ICATAT-Mitglieder teilen ein solches Schicksal. Mithilfe der ICATAT-Projekte und der deutschen ICATAT-Kolleg*innen gelingen immer wieder kleine Wunder und wir konnten in den letzten 20 Jahren gemeinsam 13 Bücher, 14 Filme und unzählige Workshops, Ausstellungen, Jugendaustausche und Stadt-Safaries durchführen. Durch und mit diesen Aktivitäten zwischen Wissenschaft und Kultur gelang auch immer eine reziproke Integration – gegenseitig empowernd und mit viel Solidarität. Dr. Mieste Hotopp-Riecke weilte während der Preisverleihung am Goethe-Institut in Dublin mit Kolleg*innen einer Literatur-Studienreise – unter anderem Ammar Awaniy, Dr.in Marlen Schachinger, Elnara , Torsten Sowada. Der zweite Leiter des ICATAT, Dr. Stephan Theilig, nahm die Ehrung in der Begegnungsstätte Krzyzowa / Kreisau in Polen entgegen, wo er gemeinsam mit der krimtatarischen Künstlerin Elzara Galimova mit Jugendlichen zum Thema Krieg, Flucht und Hoffnung arbeitete.
Die Preisverleihung in Sachsen-Anhalts Hauptstadt Magdeburg wurde vorgenommen von Frau Staatsministerin beim Bundeskanzler und Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Migration, Flüchtlinge und Integration Reem Alabali-Radovan, der Ministerin für Arbeit, Soziales, Gesundheit und Gleichstellung des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt, Frau Petra Grimm-Benne sowie Staatssekretärin Susi Möbbeck, Integrationsbeauftragte der Landesregierung von Sachsen-Anhalt. Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass Undra Dressler aus Burg die Co-Moderation der Preisverleihung übernommen hatte: Sind doch ihre mongolische Jurte, der Sohn von Dzhemile Umerova und die Künstlerin Iman Shaaban mit Bestandteil unseres Buches „Der Pascha von Magdeburg“, des ersten Buchproduktes aus 12 Jahren Arbeit nach der „Methode Pascha“, die hier in der Kirche des „Klosters Unser Lieben Frauen“ in Magdeburg ausgezeichnet wurde. Ebenfalls ein besonderes Bonbon der Feier waren die Musikstücke des Ehepaares Inna und Rustem Khalilov, die mit ihren zwei Kindern nach Frankreich geflüchtet waren und nun Zuflucht fanden in Naumburg an der Saale. Sie studierten an der Prokofjew-Musikhochschule in Donezk und arbeiteten vor dem Krieg im Opernhaus in Kiew. Inna und Rustem Khalilov brachten auf ihren Violinen das Musikstück „Bahar Kelse“ (Wenn Frühling käme) – ein krimtatarisches Lied über Frühling, Hoffnung und entfernte Liebe auf die Magdeburger Bühne.
Tausend Dank ALLEN Kolleginnen und Kollegen, ICATAT-Mitgliedern sowie allen ICATAT-Unterstützenden der letzten 20 Jahre. Staatssekretärin forderte das Publikum zu einem besonders lauten Applaus auf: Es solle bis nach Dublin zu hören sein! Es ist angekommen , Frau Möbbeck, 1001 Dankeschön dafür! Und für interdisziplinäre Forschung und viele weitere transkulturelle Jugendprojekte nehmen wir diese Auszeichnung als Würdigung und Motivation!

We received good news: In the 20th year of its existence, ICATAT-Institute was awarded the „Special Prize for Commitment to Diversity – Against Racism and Discrimination“ by the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
While the two heads of ICATAT – Dr. Hotopp-Riecke and Dr. Theilig – were abroad on international cultural exchange projects, our Crimean Tatar colleague Dzhemile Umerova, ICATAT fellow since 2009, accepted the award. When the war in Ukraine broke out in 2014, her family, like thousands of other families, had to emigrate into exile in Western Europe. Syrian, Kumyk, Ukrainian, Kurdish and Turkish ICATAT members also share a similar fate. With the help of the ICATAT projects and the German ICATAT colleagues, small miracles are always achieved and over the last 20 years we have been able to produce 13 books, 14 films and countless workshops, exhibitions, youth exchanges and city safaris together. Through and with these activities between science and culture, reciprocal integration has always been achieved – mutually empowering and with a lot of solidarity. During the award ceremony Dr. Mieste Hotopp-Riecke was on a literature study trip at the Goethe Institute in Dublin with colleagues – including Ammar Awaniy, Dr.in Marlen Schachinger, Elnara Resul Qızı Letova and Torsten Sowada. The second director of ICATAT, Dr. Stephan Theilig, accepted the award at the Krzyzowa / Kreisau youth education house placed in Poland, where he worked with young people on the subject of war, flight and hope together with the Crimean Tatar artist Elzara Galimova. The awards ceremony in Saxony-Anhalt’s capital Magdeburg was carried out by Reem Alabali-Radovan, Minister of State to the Federal Chancellor and Federal Government Commissioner for Migration, Refugees and Integration, the Minister for Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Equality of the State of Saxony-Anhalt, Petra Grimm-Benne, and State Secretary Susi Möbbeck, Integration Commissioner for the State Government of Saxony-Anhalt. We were particularly pleased that Undra Dressler from Burg co-hosted the awards ceremony: her Mongolian yurt, the son of Dzhemile Umerova and the artist Iman Shaaban are part of our book „The Pasha of Magdeburg“, the first book product from 12 years of work using the „Pasha Method“, which was awarded here in the church of the „Kloster Unser Lieben Frauen“ in Magdeburg. Another special treat at the celebration were the pieces of music by the Crimean Tatar couple Inna and Rustem Khalilov, who had fled to France with their two children and now found refuge in Naumburg an der Saale. They studied at the Prokofiev Music Academy in Donetsk and worked in the opera house in Kiev before the war. Inna and Rustem Khalilov played the piece “Bahar Kelse” (If Spring Were to Come) – a Crimean Tatar song about spring, hope and distant love – on their violins on the Magdeburg stage.
A thousand thanks to ALL colleagues, ICATAT members and all ICATAT supporters over the last 20 years. The State Secretary called on the audience to give a particularly loud round of applause: it should be heard all the way to Dublin! It has arrived, Mrs Möbbeck, a thousand thanks for that! And we take this award as recognition and motivation for interdisciplinary research and many other transcultural youth projects!
أثناء تواجد مديري منظمتنا – الدكتور هوتوب-ريكه والدكتور تايلج- في الخارج لتنفيذ مشاريع التبادل الثقافي الدولي، استلمت زميلتنا القرم تترية دجميلة أوميروفا الجائزة بالنيابة عنهم، وهي زميلة في معهدنا منذ عام 2009. مع اندلاع الحرب في أوكرانيا عام 2014، اضطرت عائلتها، مثل آلاف العائلات الأخرى، إلى الهجرة إلى أوروبا الغربية. حالها حال زملاءنا من سوريا، كوميكية، أوكرانيا، كردستان وتركيا. هم جميعاً يشتركون في هذا المصير . تكلل جهدنا بتحقيق العديد من المعجزات الصغيرة وتمكنا في السنوات العشرين الماضية من إنتاج 13 كتابًا، 14 فيلمًا، وتنظيم عدد لا يحصى من الورشات، المعارض، تبادلات الشباب والجولات التعليمية والثقافية في المدينة. من خلال هذه الأنشطة بين العلم والثقافة، تحقق دائمًا تكامل متبادل – تمكين متبادل والكثير من التضامن.
خلال حفل توزيع الجوائز، كان الدكتور ميسته هوتوب-ريكه في معهد جوته في دبلن مع زملاء في رحلة دراسية أدبية، بما في ذلك عمار عواني، الدكتورة مارلين شاخينغر، إلنارا، تورستن سوفادا. استلم الدكتور ستيفان تيليج، المدير الثاني لـلمنظمة، الجائزة في مركز اللقاءات في كريزوا / كرايساو في بولندا، حيث عمل مع الفنانة القرم تترية إلزارا غاليموفا مع الشباب حول موضوعات الحرب، اللجوء والأمل.
تم تسليم الجوائز في عاصمة ولاية ساكسونيا أنهالت ماغديبرغ من قبل السيدة وزيرة الدولة لدى المستشارة الاتحادية والمفوضة الحكومية لشؤون الهجرة واللاجئين والاندماج ريم ألايبالي-رادوفان، ووزيرة العمل والشؤون الاجتماعية والصحة والمساواة في ولاية ساكسونيا أنهالت السيدة بيترا غريم-بيني، وكذلك سكرتيرة الدولة سوزي موببيك، المفوضة لشؤون الاندماج في حكومة ولاية ساكسونيا أنهالت. سعدنا بشكل خاص بأن أوندرا دريسسلر من بورغ قد تولت المشاركة في تقديم حفل توزيع الجوائز: فإن خيمتها المنغولية قد ضمت في أحد المشاريع ابن دجميلة أوميروفا والفنانة إيمان شعبان والذين كانوا جزءًا من كتابنا „الباشا من ماغديبورغ“، وهو أول منتج كتابي من 12 عامًا من العمل وفقًا لـ „منهج باشا“، الذي تم تكريمه هنا في كنيسة „دير سيدتنا العزيزة“ في ماغديبورغ.
وقد أضافت قطعة موسيقية قدمها الزوجان إنّا ورستم خاليلوف، اللذان لجآ إلى فرنسا مع طفليهما ويعيشان الآن في ناومبورغ على نهر زاله، لمسة خاصة أخرى في الاحتفال. كلاهما درسا في معهد بروكوفييف للموسيقى في دونيتسك وعملا قبل الحرب في دار الأوبرا في كييف. قدما على كمانيهما قطعة موسيقية بعنوان „بهار كلسي“ (عندما يأتي الربيع) – وهي أغنية قرم تترية عن الربيع، الأمل والحب البعيد على خشبة مسرح ماغديبورغ.
ألف شكر لجميع الزملاء و كل من دعمنا على مدى السنوات العشرين الماضية. سكرتيرة الدولة دعت الجمهور الحاضر إلى التصفيق الحار بشكل خاص: „يجب أن يصل صوتنا إلى دبلن!“ وقد وصل، سيدة موببيك، شكراً جزيلاً!
نعتبر هذه الجائزة تكريمًا وتحفيزًا للمزيد من الأبحاث متعددة التخصصات والمزيد من مشاريع الشباب العابرة للثقافات
